Biography

Jingcheng Ma earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017. He received his Ph.D. (2022) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the guidance of Professor Nenad Miljkovic and Professor David G. Cahill. His PhD research centers on manipulating heat-fluid-surface interactions to bring about transformational efficiency enhancements in condensation heat transfer. Jingcheng worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago with Professor Bozhi Tian from 2022-2024 and his work intersects thermofluids and biosensing for healthcare and environmental applicatio
